A system wants things to line up.

That is one of its gifts. It keeps the navigation reachable, the type legible, the source portable, the build repeatable, and the path home intact.

It can also become an alibi for removing every mark that suggests a person was here.

This Labs page is built from governed Foundry blocks. Beneath the parchment, the page still has ordinary structure: a hero, a sequence, an index, a set of links, a build that can fail when the contract breaks. The drawings and marginal notes do not replace that discipline. They press against it.

The irregular edge says this may change. The crossed line says the first thought was not the last. The bit of tape admits that two pieces were joined. The handwriting changes scale because the thought arrived before the layout had made room for it.

Parchment by itself would be costume. The important thing is the permission to leave evidence of revision.

A creative system should not make every page eccentric. It should make eccentricity possible without making ownership, accessibility, or recovery fragile.
